UnHub is an interesting concept and was inspired by the brand new Skittles.com website. This makes it possible for anyone to create a similar looking, very simple site for free. UnHub is used to link lots of different information about yourself together. You can connect your photos, channels, profiles and various other things. Your visitors will enter your unhub URL where they will see your unhub bar at the top of the screen. It’s then possible for them to select a number of different options to view all sorts of different things. It’s very simple, but that’s because it’s designed to be simple. It should make it much easier for people to visit all of your different sites and profiles. They just need to click on each one at the top. Instead of having to give out all of your details you can just hand out your UnHub URL. It’s possible to include this in your twitter profile section, or just in your email signature. Unhub is suitable for both personal and business use. Barack Obama has an UnHub site, and so does Josie’s Restaurant.

There are loads of different social network aggregators which will bring numerous different social networking sites into one place. These include Power.com and Friend Feed; however UnHub simplifies the process even more and makes it possible to share profiles easily.

The application is designed to be as simple as possible, a small bar is displayed at the top of the screen where visitors to your unhub page can click and select the different types of information that they want to learn about you. There is a space for a biography, photos, videos and plenty of other options. It’s suitable for both businesses and individuals. Richard Branson has an unhub page which doubles as both a personal resource and a business promotional tool. You are walked through the process of creating your unhub bar by simply entering the profile addresses; it’s also possible to change your unhub bar easily in the future by logging in and making the required changes. Your site will be accessible though the unhub site, it will take the form of www.unhub.com/yourname.

Registering for an account doesn’t take very long; you just need to enter your details on the main page of the website. The username that you choose will also be used to access your unhub page, for example unhub.com/xxx. You will also need to add one of your profiles, you can of course add as many as you want, but you must add at least one. After you have done that you have created your unhub bar and the results are displayed. Click to create a password and then you will be logged into your account.

Unhub is completely free to use, and there’s no noticeable adverts anywhere on the site either.

Unhub is ideal for pretty much anyone; it’s a very easy way to quickly create a simple site to link all of your profiles and information together. It makes sharing information much easier than it is normally and also makes it easy for people to find out about you.
